Chocolate Applesauce Cake

2 c. flour
1/2 t. salt
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 t. cinnamon
1/2 c. oil
2 c. applesauce
2 T. cocoa
2 eggs
1 1/2 t. baking soda
Topping
2 T. sugar
1/2 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Mix together the dry ingredients.  Add the wet ingredients; mix with blender for two minutes.  Pour into a greased 9 x 13 pan.  Sprinkle the topping on top.  Bake at 350 degrees for about 35 minutes.  Serve hot.
