Oven Cheese Toast

 Ingredients:

- 4 slices of whole-grain bread (you can use any type of bread you prefer)
- 1 cup shredded low-fat cheese (like mozzarella or cheddar)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or melted butter (optional)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs (like parsley or basil) for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Prepare the Bread: Place the slices of bread on a baking sheet. If you like, you can brush them lightly with olive oil or melted butter for extra flavor.
3. Add Cheese: Evenly distribute the shredded cheese over the slices of bread.
4. Season: Sprinkle garlic powder, salt, and pepper over the cheese if desired.
5. Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges of the bread are golden brown.
6. Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh herbs if you like, and serve warm.
