Everlasting Yeast

1 qt. warm potato water, ½ T. dry yeast, 1 t. salt, 2 T. sugar, 2 c. whole wheat flour.  Stir all ingredients together.  Place mixture in a warm place to rise.  Leave a small amount of everlasting yeast (at least 1/3 c.) for a start next time—Add all
original ingredients (except yeast).  Let stand and then store covered in refrigerator.
